Balboa Park – Free Tuesday

Balboa Park organization offers free Tuesday admission on a rotating basis throughout the month. Some museums may offer a complimentary admission to their permanent collections only and charge admission to the special exhibitions.

  1. We will be in San Diego on the first Tuesday in August. We are from Utah. I remember reading that the R. H. Fleet Science Center is only free to California residents. Is that true? If it’s free for everyone we’ll come on Tuesday. If it’s full price for us because we are from out of state, we’ll go on another day when it won’t be so crowded. Thank you for your help.
