Beautiful blossoms ranging from pink, orange and white complement the Spanish-style architecture of some of the most expensive real estate in all of California. There is a boardwalk that spans the length of the beach and is great for walking, rollerblading, bicycling or jogging. La Jolla Shores attracts travelers from nearby hotels as well as the locals year-round for scuba diving, surfing, swimming and offers great photo opportunities.

La Jolla Shores is a short distance from downtown La Jolla, a very high-end area with hotels, shops and galleries. The beauty of the La Jolla Shores is ideal for picnicking, tossing a Frisbee, strolling and enjoying the waves break. The La Jolla Shores is rich with marine life.

Lifeguards are stationed year round and children will like the modern playground with a bathroom, showers, and changing area at the sound end of the beach.
